This client has an exciting portfolio of brands across consumer electrics, health and well-being for use in all areas of the home. You will be managing the PR & Social Media for four major brands working within and entrepreneurial environment.
The PR & Social Media Manager will take full ownership of the role, key responsibilities include:
Developing media relations, press packs and driving coverage as well as driving launch events alongside the Brand Manager
Develop PR campaigns from 'ideation through to implementation'
Creating and executing the PR and Social Media strategy
Organising events for both consumers and press
Developing relationships with key Press contacts, bloggers and journalists across Consumer Lifestyle media both on and off line.
Reporting on successful coverage to internal stakeholders
Handling all press enquiries, maximising the opportunity for visibility
Understanding product availability and marketing plans to connect creative, positioning and timing
The candidate that secures the PR & Social Media Manager position will bring a proven track record across Consumer PR & Social media encompassing health & well being and consumer products (ideally electricals) You must bring commercially creative thinking to the position in addition to excellent writing skill
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to plan and execute PR & Social media campaigns that integrate with the marketing plans for each Brand. The business is rapidly expanding to being able to operate and deliver in an environment that moves at pace and is subject to change will be key. You will ideally bring a great network of contacts from the consumer lifestyle sector.
The ability to build excellent relationships and influence both internally and externally are a must. You will also be happy to work from Kent on a daily basis with trips to London as and when required.
